Answer:

Let the production cost of the geyser be Rs x.

Manufacturers gain=6%

Therefore , S.P of the manufacturer=106% of Rsx=Rs. x×106/100

= 53x/50

Wholesale dealer's gain=8%

S.P of the dealer=108% of Rs.

53x/50

= (53x /50) ×(108 /10)

Retailer's gain=10%

S.P of the retailer=110% of Rs.

53x /50 × 27/25

= 53x / 50 ×27 / 25 × 110 / 100

= 53x/50 × 27/25 × 11/10

=15741

⇒x=15741×10/11 × 25/27 × 50/53

⇒x=Rs.12500

#Hence, the cost of the production of the geyser=Rs 12500

Hope it helps you
