price of articke=1000

discount allowed in first time=10% of 1000= 10/100 ×1000 = 100 rs

new amount of article = 1000- 100 = 900

then,

shopkeeper again allows a discount of 20%

discount on article=20% of 900 = 20/100 × 900 = 90

Hence , finally price of article = 900-90 =810

it will be 100 because 10/1000 × 100 = 100
