If the mass of a body is is doubled and its velocity becomes half , then the linear momentum of the body will

Answer - Will remain same .

Linear momentum formula

P = mv

so if earlier the mass is 50 and the velocity is 4 then it's linear momentum will be 200 kg • m/s

and if the mass is doubled means ( 50 × 2 ) = 100 and the velocity is half ( 4 ÷ 2 ) = 2

then product here will be

= 100 × 2

= 200 kg • m/s
