If the mass of an object on earth is 36 kg. what will be the mas of the same object on the moon

here's your answer looking for

we know that if any object will weigh x kg then , on moon its weight get one sixth or 1/6

so, 

weight of object on moon will be
36 \times  \frac{1}{6}  \\  \\  = 6kg

weight on moon = 1/6 × weight of earth

weight on moon = 1/6 × 36

= 6 kg

this due to difference in MG
on earth G = 9.8 M/S^2
G = 9.8/6 M/S^2
