for maximum resultant force R=F1+F2 and for minimum resultant force R'= F1-F2 here R is 40kN and R'=10kN ,,,,,40kN=F1+F2------(1) ,,, 10kN=F1-F2-------(2). adding both eq 1,2then F2 is cancelled out so new eqn is 40+10=2F1 then F1 is 25kN put the F1 value in any equation 1,2 you got F2 and F2 is 15kN
