GIVEN:- we have given maximum and minimum resultant pf the two forces acting on a particle .

Maximum force  = 60N

Minimum force= 20N

To find:- we have to find the two forces=?

Let two forces be A and B respectively,

from the given condition:-

⇒ A+B=60N      -(1)

⇒ A−B=20N      -(2)

Adding equations (1)and (2) then we get,

⇒ A+B + A−B=80N

⇒ 2A=80N

⇒ A=80/2=40N

Put the value in equation (1) then we get,

⇒ A+B=60N

⇒ B=60-40=20N

Hence, Two forces are 40N and 20N.
