If the data is bimodal data ,that means it has two mode 4 and 8. Then if 4 is changed to 8 then mode becomes 8.And the data does not remains bimodal data.Now it has only one mode.
If the data is not bimodal data and the mode is 4 then if 4 is changed to 8 ,either the data becomes bimodal data or the mode remains same.
These two possibilities occur in any case of addind any extra observation or changing any observation to another observation.
