Given, Mean of 20 , 14 , 16, 19, p and 21 is 27


Mean = Sum of obs./ no.of obs.

27 = 20+14+16+19+p+20/6

27(6) = 69 + p

162 = 69+p

p = 162 - 69

p = 93
