mean =  \frac{sum \: of \: datas}{number \: of \: datas} \\ 60 =  \frac{24 + 36 + 48 + x + x + 12 + 84 + 96}{7}  \\ 60 =  \frac{2x + 300}{7} \\ 420 = 2x + 300 \\ 420 - 300 = 2x \\ 120 = 2x \\ x =  \frac{120}{2}  = 60
