If the mean of 3,x,4 and x+5 is 5, then find the value of x. ​

MEAN:-

3+X+4+(X+5)=5

→There are total 4 term and

→The sum of these terms =2x+12

So, according to the question,

2x+12÷4=5

→2x+12=5×4

→2x+12=20

→2x=20-12

→2x=8

→x=8÷2

→x=4. Ans.
