if the mean of 6 number is 24, if one numbers is excluded then the mean of remaining numbers become 22... what will be that excluded number.

Find the sum of the 6 numbers:

Mean of the 6 numbers = 24

Sum of the 6 numbers = 24 x 6 = 144


Find the sum of the 5 numbers:

Mean of the 5 numbers = 22

Sum of the 5 numbers = 22 x 5 = 110


Find the excluded number:

Excluded number = 144 - 110 = 34


Answer: The excluded number is 34
