Answer:-

OPTION-(C)=a+b=25

Given:-

The mean of 7,8,a,10,b,16 is 11

Solution:-

  • At first applying formula here ]

=>Mean=Sum of total observation/Number of observation

=>Mean=7+8+a+10+b+16/6

=>41+a+b/6=11

=>41+a+b=66

=>a+b=66-41

=>a+b=25

Hence,

=>The required answer is a+b=25

=>Some notes about mean:-

  • The mean is the average of the given number. we add all Number after that we divide by Number of observation. It means how many Numbers are there. The sum is divided by it's conuting number.

The mean is used for inferring the given data. It is the best measurement method to calculate your data.
