38=20+32+43+x+2+x+5+45/6
38*6+147+2x
x=40.5
median = (n+1/2)th the value 
first arrange the nos in ascending order
2+20+32+40.5+43+45+45.5(40.5+5)
median=(7+1/2)th value
=8/2=4th value or no
hence median is 40.5
