Mean is the:

\frac{Sum\:of\:all\:observations}{No.\:of\:all\:observations}

The mean given to us is = 15

If we put all the values in the formula, we will get the correct answer.

Here's the answer

Given =>
Mean of 6 numbers is 15
Given numbers = 9 ,12 ,19 ,13, p, 16

To find =>
Value of p = ?

We know that,

 \tt{Mean = \frac{sum \: of \: all \: numbers}{total \: numbers}}
 \tt{15 = \frac{9 + 12 + 19 + 13 + p + 16}{6}}

 \tt{90 = 69 + p}

 \tt{90 - 69 = p}

 \tt{21 = p}

Thus,
The value of p is 21.
