If the mean of first 3 observation is x, X+2, X+7 is 29.
Find the mean of first two numbers.

Answer:

mean of three no.=(x+x+2+x+7)/3=29

3x+9=29×3

x+3=29

x=26

two no. are 26 and 28

mean= 26+28/2

=54/2

=27
