If the mean of N observation is 12 and the sum of the observations is 132 then find the value of N is 11 .

The sum of all observations = 132 .

We know that , mean = \frac{Sum of all observations}{Total number of observations} = \frac{132}{n} .

But, mean = 12 .

⇒ n = \frac{132}{12} = 11 .

The number of observations ' n ' = 11 .

Therefore , the value of N is 11 .
