taking cube both sides

(p+1/p)³=(2q)³

p³+1/p³+3*p*1/p(p+1/p)=8q³

p³+1/p³+3*2q=8q³         ( p+1/p=2q from(1) )

p³+1/p³=8q³ -6q

so mean of p³ and 1/p³

=1/2(p³+1/p³)=1/2*(8q³ -6q)

=4q³-3q
