ANSWER:-

Mean = sum / no. Of observations

12 = (x + 1 + 14 + 3 + 15 + 16 + x + 21 + 10) / 9

12 × 9 = 80 + 2x

108 = 80 + 2x

108 - 80 = 2x

28 = 2x

x = 28/2

x = 14
