 \frac{(x + 1) + (x) + (x - 3)}{3}  = 7 \\   \rightarrow  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  x + 1 + x + x - 3 = 21 \\  \rightarrow \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \: \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  3x - 2 = 21 \\   \rightarrow \: \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \: \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \: \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \: x =  \frac{21 + 2}{3} \\  \rightarrow \: \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \: \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \: \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \: x =  \frac{23}{3}

Now,

 \mathbb{ MEAN \:  \:  OF \:  \:  {x}^{2} , \: x + 4 , \: and \: x + 2}

 \longrightarrow  \frac{ ( \frac{23}{3} )^{2} +(  \frac{23}{3}   + 4) +  (\frac{23}{3}  + 2)}{3}  \\  \\   \longrightarrow  \frac{ \frac{529}{9}  +  \frac{35}{3} +  \frac{29}{3}  }{3}  \\ \\   \longrightarrow  \frac{ \frac{529 + 105 + 87}{9} }{3}  \\  \\  \longrightarrow  \:  \frac{721}{9 \times 3}  =  \frac{721}{27}  = 26.7
