38=28+x+32+43+x+5+45/6
38×6=153+2x
2x=228-153
2x=75
x=75/2
x=37.5

Median:-
n=6
median is average of (n/2) and (n/2+1)
=(6/2)+(6/2+1)/2
=3+(3+1)/2
=3+4/2=7/2=3.5 th observation
(or)
32+43/2=75/2=37.5
therefore,37.5 is the median
