Let first number be x
So, second number is x+1
As mean = Sum of all observations/Number of all observations
So,
x+x+1 / 2 = 10
2x + 1 = 20
2x = 19
x = 19/2 = 9.5
1st number = x = 9.5
2nd number = x + 1 = 9.5 + 1 = 10.5
So, second number is x+1
As mean = Sum of all observations/Number of all observations
So,
x+x+1 / 2 = 10
2x + 1 = 20
2x = 19
x = 19/2 = 9.5
1st number = x = 9.5
2nd number = x + 1 = 9.5 + 1 = 10.5

mean=sum/total
y+x=20
y=x+1
x+x+1=20
2x=19
x=9.5
y=x+1
y=10.5
y+x=20
y=x+1
x+x+1=20
2x=19
x=9.5
y=x+1
y=10.5
