mean = sum of observation/total number of observation
8 = x+(x+2)+(x+4)+(x+6)+(x+8)+(x+10)/6
8*6 = x+x+2+x+4+x6+x+8+x+10
48 = 6x+30
48-30 = 6x
18=6x
x = 18/6
x=3
8 = x+(x+2)+(x+4)+(x+6)+(x+8)+(x+10)/6
8*6 = x+x+2+x+4+x6+x+8+x+10
48 = 6x+30
48-30 = 6x
18=6x
x = 18/6
x=3
