Answer:

True

Given,

mean of :-

x , x + 3 , x + 5 , x + 7 , x + 10 is '9' when x = 3.

To Find :-

Whether it is True (or) False.

Solution :-

Substituting value of x = 3.

x = 3

x + 3 = 3 + 3 = 6

x + 5 = 3 + 5 = 8

x + 7 = 3 + 7 = 10

x + 10 = 3 + 10 = 13.

\sf\therefore the series we got = 3 , 6 , 8 , 10 , 13.

Mean :-

 \frac{sum \: of \: the \: observations}{number \: of \: the \: observations}

Sum of the Observations :- 3 + 6 + 8 + 10 + 13

= 9 + 8 + 10 + 13

= 17 + 10 + 13

= 27 + 13

= 40

Number of Observations = '5'

Mean = \sf\dfrac{40}{5}

\sf\therefore Mean = 9.

Hence, Mean of "x , x + 3 , x + 5 , x + 7 , x + 10" is '9' when x = 3.

This statement is True
