Given:

  • Surface Area of sphere = 36 π cm²

\\ \\

To find:

☞ Volume of sphere = ?

\\ \\

Method:

First lets understand the formulas.

Formulas used:

☆ Surface Area of a sphere = 4 π r²

☆ Volume of sphere = 4/3 π r³

\\

Solution:

Surface area of Sphere = 4 π r²

⇨ 36 π = 4 π r²

Cancelling π on both sides,

➥ 36 = 4r²

⇒ 4r² = 36

➝ r² = 36 ÷ 4

➝ r² = 9

➝ r = √9

➞ r = ± 3

\\

Radius cannot be negative.

∴ r = 3 cm

\sf{Volume\: of\: a \: sphere = \dfrac{4}{3}\pi r^{3} }\\\\\\\Rightarrow \sf{Volume\: of\: sphere = \dfrac{4}{3} \times \pi \times (3)^{3} }\\\\\\\Rightarrow \sf{Volume\: of\: sphere = \dfrac{4}{\not3} \times \pi \times  9 \times \not3}\\\\\\\\\therefore \boxed{\boxed{\bf{Volume\: of\: sphere = 36 \pi \: cm^{3} }}}
