Let the first number be x
So,the other numbers are :x+2,x+4,x+6
sum of all numbers/no. of numbers=median
(x+x+2+x+4+x+6)/4=6
Transposing 4 to RHS,
4x+12=4(6)
4x=24-12
4x=12
x=12/4
x=3

The largest number=x+6
                              =3+6
                              =9

The correct option is : (b)9
