here, l=20, f=20, cf=5+x,h=10,x=60,n/2=30

median = l+(n/2-cf/f)*h

putting all the value and after solving em' we get 8.5=25-x,8.5*2=25-x

17=25-x, x=25-7

x=8

sum of frequencfrequencies= 60 (given)

5+x+20+15+y+5=60, x+y+45=60

x+y=60-45=15

x+y=15, 8+y=15 (x=8)

y=15-8= 7=y
