Arranging the given observations in ascending order,

 =  \frac{2x}{9}  \:  \:  \frac{x}{4}  \:  \:  \:  \frac{x}{3}  \:  \:  \:  \frac{x}{2}  \:  \:  \: x

⇒ Here, number of observation =5

  \large( \frac{5 + 1}{2} ) \: observation

3rd observation

median \:  =  \frac{x}{3}

3 =  \frac{x}{3}

x = 9
