It means that it is more keen to give away electrons to stabilise themselfs

shreyansh565980: if metal is more reactive then it is good conductor of electricity or not
sangdilsamp925cl: conduction of electricity is based in the presence of freeelectron not on the reactivity
sangdilsamp925cl: upto my knowledge less reactive metals are good conductor of electricity

✷The elements can be classified as metals, nonmetals, or metalloids.

✷METALS are good conductors of heat and electricity, and are malleable (they can be hammered into sheets) and ductile (they can be drawn into wire).

✷METAL REACTIVITY SERIES DETERMINES THAT WHICH METAL IS MORE REACTIVE AND WHICH METAL IS LEAST REACTIVE.

✷Some metals are very unreactive . This means they do not easily take part in chemical reactions. For example, platinum does not react with oxygen in the air, even if it is heated in a Bunsen burner flame.

✷ Other metals may be more reactive than magnesium, or in between magnesium and platinum.i.e.,they take part easily in chemical reactions. If metal is more reactive then it's a good conductor.

✷The most reactive metal on the periodic table is francium. However, francium is a man-made element and only minute quantities have been produced, so for all practical purposes, the most reactive metal is cesium.
