If the mid point of (x – y, 8) and (2, x + y) is (5, 10), then find the value of (x, y).​

Answer:x-y+2)/2=5

x-y+2=10

x-y-8=0...............1

8+x+y)/2=10

8+x+y=20

x+y-12=0..........2

Adding 1and2

2x -20=0

x= 10,

From 1 ,

10-y-8=0

-y+2=0

y= 2.

So mid point is (10,2)
