SOLUTION :

The correct option is (c) : 46

Given : Mode of the data = 43,  

Data are 64, 60, 48, x, 43, 48, 43, 34

Value         : 34 | 43 | 48 | 60 | 64 | x |  

Frequency :  1  |  2  |  2  | 1   | 1   | 1 |  

Given, that Mode of the data is 43, so it is the value with the maximum frequency because MODE is the value of the observation which has the maximum frequency .

This is possible only when x = 3 . Now the frequency of observation 43 would be 3(maximum frequency).

Therefore, x + 3 = 43 + 3 = 46  

Hence, the value of x + 3 is 46 .
