Mode is the data which occurs maximum no. of times in all.
As mode is 7 here which is repeated 3 times .
So, for 7 to remain as mode no other no. should be repeated more than or equal to 3 times.
As 3 has repeated 2 times if one more 3 comes it will be now 3 times and 7 will no longer be a mode.
Hence, And any no. other than 3 can be x.

Mean=(3+4+1+3+7+5+6+ 3+7+7+2+x)/12=7
=>48+x=84
=>x=32
=>48+x=84
