Let Xa and Xb be the mole fraction of solute and solvent respectively.
Sum of mole fraction of solute and solvent is always 1.
So, Xa + Xb = 1
=>Xb = 1 - Xa
=>Xb = 1 - 0.25
=>Xb = 0.75.
