​if the moment of inertia of a disc about an existing tension and parallel to its surface be I ,then what will be the moment of inertia about the axis tangential and perpendicular to the surface?

by parrel axis theorem we have ,

I = MR^2 / 4 - MR^2

= 5/4 MR^2

so , I = MR ^ 2 /2 + MR^2

= 3/2 MR^2.

thereofre req ans, = 5/4 × 4/5 (3/2)MR^2

= 6/5 I
