If the momentum of a body increases by 10% then what is the percentage increase in the kinetic energy of the object?
Answer - 40%
I know the answer but don't know how to solve it. Could somebody please help?

so k.e increses by [(0.1+1)^2-1]100
=[1.21-1]100
=0.21*100
=21%
so k.e increses by [(0.1+1)^2-1]100
=[1.21-1]100
=0.21*100

KE = 1/2 m v² = p²/2m
p' = p + 10% p = 1.10 p
KE' = p' ² /2m = 1.10² p² /2 m = 1.21 KE
Hence it increases by (1.21- 1.00)*100 = 21%
that number you have mention is not correct.
