If the moon attract the earth, Why does the earth not move towards the moon?

because the attraction force is counter attacked by centripetal force.

Apply Newton's third law which states that every action has a equal and opposite reaction. Therefore, earth and moon experience same amount of gravitational force . Both bodies revolve along their common center of mass, and centrifugal force balances the gravitational force
Since, earth  is much larger in size than moon, so , the acceleration can not be noticed on earth surface.
