if the moon attracts the earth,why does the earth not move towards the moon?​

Its simple. Logic...

Earth is more bigger than the moon so it dosnt move to the moon. The moon has 1/6 mass of the earth. Moon will only move to earth. But now the moon is in a safe distance... If it gets to close to Earth.... sadly it wil get ripped to pieces, and form like Saturn's rings. If the moon is far then.... the mooon will get ejected into empty space. It's happening right now. The moon is going far away as we speak but inch by inch.
