A louse and her family had the bed of the royal king her home. They lived there comfortably and happily for many years and went unnoticed by everybody. One day, a mouse sees the louse and asks its permission to join the gang. The louse agrees on the question that the mosquito will quench its thirst by sucking blood only from the king’s leg. The mosquito agreed and for a few days there was no problem.

One day, when the king was asleep the mosquito decided to suck the blood from his face. This disturbed the king and he slapped the mosquito hard, thereby killing it. He ordered for his bed to be cleaned thoroughly. When this was done, the louse and her family also lost their lives. This would not have happened if the louse had not allowed the mosquito to join them.
