Answer :

Multiplicative inverse :

If a and b are two real numbers such that ab = 1, then a and b are multiplicative inverse of each other. Only 0 has no multiplicative inverse.

Additive inverse :

If a and b are two real numbers such that a + b= 0, then a and b are additive inverse to each other.

Here,

multiplicative inverse of (- 2/5) is (- 5/2)

additive inverse of (- 3) is 3

additive inverse of 1/2 is (- 1/2)

Therefore, the required sum is

= (- 5/2) + 3 + (- 1/2)

= ( - 5 + 6 - 1 )/2

= 0/2

= 0
