tn=24-3n

t2=24-3(2)

=24-6

=18

Given : a n = 24 - 3n

since there is no particular value of n..

we can substitute 2 as the value of n to get the second term of a.p

now, A2 = 24 - 3(2)

A2 = 24 - 6

A2 = 18

therefore second term of a.p is 18.
