if the net force acting on the body be Zero, will the body remain necessarilly in rest position? explain your answer

no it is not necessary that the body would be in rest but yes the body would be in the state of equilibrium. i.e. it may be possible that the body is in motion and here the net force acting is zero then the body will continue moving with constant speed
