if the no.of surfaces of cuboid is x, no.of edges is y nd no.of surfaces is z nd no.of diagonals is p then find the value of x-y+z+p

Answer:

If l,b,h be the dimensions of the cuboid.

x  2  =l  2  +b  2  ;y  2  =b  2  +h  2  ;z  2  =h  2  +l  2

 

Therefore, x  2  +y  2  −z  2  =2b  2  ,

so b=   √1/2 ​   (x  2  +y  2  −z  2  )

​  

 Similarly, l=  √1/2  (x  2  +z  2  −y  2 )   and

h= √  1/2  (y  2  +z  2  −x  2  )

​  

 Volume=l×b×h is the same as (c).
