aN = 3n + 4

a1 = 3 × 1 + 4

a1 = 3 + 4 = 7

If n = 2

aN = 3n + 4

a2 = 3 × 2 + 4 = 6 + 4 = 10

d = a2 - a1 = 10 - 7 = 3

S8 = n/2 [a + (n-1)d]

= 8/2 [7 + (8-1) × 3]

= 4 [7 + 7 × 3]

= 4 [7 + 21]

= 4 × 28

= 112
