If the nth term of an AP is (4n – 10). Find its common difference​

 Given : nth term of AP , An = (4n-10)

Let 'A' be first term and 'd' the common difference.

     so, A1 = 4(1)-10 = -6           -(i)

    similarly , A2 = 4(2) - 10 = -2  -(ii)

subtracting equation (ii) from (i)

  A2-A1 = -2 + 6 = 4

Therefore , common difference , d = 4
