nth term of is ( − 9 n + 4 )

1st term will be (a) :- {-9(1) + 4} = -5

2nd term will be :- {-9(2) + 4} = -14

so common difference (d) = -14 -(-5) = -9

we know that:-

 a_{n} = a + (n - 1)d

a_{14} = - 5 + (14 - 1)( - 9)

 a_{14} \: = - 122

Hope it helps!!!
