Given :
- nth term = 2n - 1
To Find :
- 7th term of the given A.P
Solution :
An = 2n - 1
A₁ = 2 × 1 - 1
A₁ = 1
A₂ = 2 × 2 - 1
A₂ = 3
A.P = 1 , 3 , 5 , 7 .......
Common difference = A₂ - A₁
→ 3 - 1 = 2
Now 7th term of the A.P
A₇ = a + 6d
→ A₇ = 1 + 6 × 2
→ A₇ = 1 + 12
→ A₇ = 13
