let the nth term of first ap =a+(n-1)×d
a=9
n
d=-2
9+(n-1)×-2
and the nth term of second Ap= a+(n-1)×d
a=24
n=
d=-3
24+(n-1)×-3
9+(n-1)×-2=24+(n-1)×-3
9-2n+2=24-3n+3
11-2n=27-3n
11-27=-3n+2n
-16=-n
n=16th term
and the 16th term is
a+(n-1)d
9+(16-1)×-2
9+(15)×-2
9-30=-21
16th term is -21
a=9
