For a number to be divisible by 3 the sum of all the digits must be divisible by 3.

Let the number be X.

3 + 4 + x + 5 + 1 = 13+ x

If we add 5 it will become 18 which is divisible by 3 .

So the number is 5.

Hope it helps.

Answer:

b. 5

Step-by-step explanation:

As the divisiblity rule of 3,

The sum of digit must be equal to a multiple of 3 so

3+4+*+5+1=multiple of 3

So if we put 5 in place of *, then

18 will be multiple of 3
