Median = 13

Now,

n = 8

Then,

Median= 1/2 (n/2)th + (n/2 + 1)th

=) 13 = 1/2 (8/2)th + (8/2 + 1)th

=) 13 = 1/2 (4)th + (5)th

=) 13 = 1/2 *( x ) + (x + 2)

=) 13 = 1/2 * (2x + 2)

=) 26 = 2x + 2

=) x= (26-2)/2

=) x = 24/2

Hence, x= 12
