If the number of bivalents are 8 in metaphase 1 what shall be the number of chromosomes in daughter cell in meiosis 1 amd meiosis 2

In meiosis 1 the no. Of chromosomes in each daughter cell will be 8.

In meiosis 2 the no. Of chromosomes will be again 8, but they will be haploid...hence the genetic material will be halved.
