Correct Question : If the number X is 5 more than the number Y and the sum of square of X and Y is a 37 then find the product of X and Y

Explanation :

X = Y + 5

X- Y = 5 { Square in both side}

(X- Y)2 = 52

X2 + Y2 - 2XY = 25...(i)

X2 + Y2 = 37...(ii)

From equation (i) and (ii)

37 - 2XY = 25

2XY = 37 -25 = 12

XY = 6
